Saison Floue
Saison Floue
Photographic series, 2025
In September 2023, i was 29 and had no money, no job, no girlfriend, no house, no idea where to go, or what to do with myself and my life. I was heartbroken and going through an existential crisis. Photography and art had felt like failures, and I had little to show for the years I had invested in them.
With no better alternative, I went to France to work on the grape harvest, carrying only a tent, a bag of clothes, and a cheap compact camera with a few rolls of film.
There, I found myself immersed in a condition familiar to the many seasonal workers who move through these regions each year, but unknown to me and to most people outside of it. A temporary world born from this seasonal interruption, where weather, income, labour, youth, and vice intertwine.

This series was photographed between September and December 2023, in the Médoc and French
Basque Country regions.
